Online Hirevue where they asked various behavioral questions along with an online coding assessment where you have one frontend question and one backend SQL question. Online interview had some pretty basic interview questions

Had a phone screen with lead developer. Basic programming questions asked about java. This was followed by a 3 hour onsite interview, well onsite with a video conference with developers over in New York. The job was described as working in Dublin with members in New York as office was developed over time. As a result I expected a lot on white board questions to be asked to test programming skills instead it was all theory about strings, key words, how the java compiler worked. It was one of the weirdest interviews I have experienced. I was applying as a college graduate but with how they where talking it seemed like they need a more senor developer to basically work remote in a Dublin office. One onsite person said that they are planning internships, and a least a few more developers to be added by the end of the year, asked someone in New York about growth of office and there was nothing planned on their side to date. There was no test of skills in any of the interview stages at all, your could get by with bluffing your way. The interview itself was a waste of time for everyone involved with the questions asked.
