Interview
I had an interview scheduled with two Execs on the Legal and Compliance team for KKR Credit Advisors. It was the most unprofessional interview I've ever experienced. Right off the bat, the first executive, let's call her "E", claimed she was feeling under the weather, so she would be off camera. That's awkward, but I resumed as normal. I then asked her about the role, in which she went on to tell me that they were looking to replace the current EA who was on a performance improvement plan. Not only did she name drop, but she went into detail about her mistakes. I happened to actually have mutual friends with the named EA. I just didn't get a good impression based on her complaints and oversharing about her.
Immediately after our call, I had another scheduled zoom interview with the other exec. It was canceled within seconds after my call with E due to "something that came up".
It was never rescheduled, and I never heard back.
The process was just unlike anything I've gone through, and made me think of KKR differently. I definitely would not want to support someone who thinks less of others and is disrespectful.

3 rounds total - Phone, meet the team, then meet the execs. Typical interview questions and everyone was kind. Was turned off when one of the execs interrupted our interview to use their phone and text someone they were trying to get a hold of, but besides that, it was professional overall.
It was the worst interview I have ever given. The office manager who interviewed me seemed a really difficult person to deal with. general questions but she had an accusing look at all times and she never seemed satisfied by any answers. She has trust issues for sure.
