I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at KKR (New York, NY) in Feb 2024
Interview
I applied online and then directly emailed the MD associated with the practice on LinkedIn. I got a rejection from the automated system and then received an invitation to interview a couple of minutes after.
I spoke to the recruiter who seemed very full of herself, as if she didn't have the time or interest in chatting. She asked basic questions--why are you interested, etc.--and failed to follow up with me. I emailed her a week later, and she immediately sent me a "Sorry, but" email because "we had a competitive pool".
Yeah, I get you're KKR, but c'mon.
Seamless and relatively straight forward. You're usual pick of the litter questions. Nothing out of the ordinary, so don't expect to be stumped but you should still prepare of course.
