I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Storrs, CT) in Oct 2017
Interview
I reached out to the campus recruiter and went to ever career event during my “senior year” while completing my MSA. I signed up for 1:1 information sessions during the semester and spoke with KPMG employees as often as possible in order to paint a better picture of my future within KPMG. The first interview was very casual. The KPMG employee got to know more about me and to see if my personality reflected that of KPMG’s standards: fun, outgoing, energetic, positive, strong work ethic. After passing through to the second round of interviews, we were asked to join many employees, managers, and partners for a “pre-interview social event” at a local restaurant. It was truly an amazing experience having had the chance to speak with the partners and get a sense of the ‘tone at the top’. During the final interviews, we had two interviews, each with one to two KPMG employees (managers/partners). The interviews were easy going, touching a bit on the resume and how my goals reflect my future within KMPG. After I completed the interviews, we were told we would hear back within one to two weeks. Before accepting their offer, I was invited to my office of choice for a tour and presentation of all that KPMG has to offer. I loved it!
