I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Washington, DC) in Aug 2013
Interview
Two Round interviews:
1st round- on campus
2nd round- in the office with two senior manager/ partners.
Overall, the interview was very straightforward. There were no case studies, just interpersonal skill questions. The interviewer's goal is to see if you can fit into the firm's culture. Everyone is very nice but understand that you are being reviewed throughout this whole process.
My advice is to be yourself. Do not lie but at the same time don't be too relaxed. I have seen candidates act too casual and was rejected because they let something slip.
Good luck.
