I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Washington, DC) in Jan 2011
Interview
Interview was with the partners and senior managers. The interviews were done in person. I'd rate KPMG as a good place to interview and work. A lot of time was spent on cultural fit and on explaining the company's business lines, professional independence standards, and the like. It's a solid company with a good hiring process. A public accounting firm is a unique environment in which to work and professionally grow.
