I applied online. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente
Interview
They had me fill out an emailed questionnaire. It asked general questions about myself and experience. A few days later I was offered an in-person interview with the department supervisor. The interview with him was very awkward. He had a list of about 12 question printed out that he repeatedly explained are questions provided to him by HR that he is required to ask, then turn in, and HR makes a decision based on what he turns in. So it was basically a thorough HR related interview that they have the department head do for them. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything, I was offered a job with a different company. I contacted HR for an update and never heard back from them. I contacted the department head that I interviewed with. He said he recommended me for the job and it was in HR's hands now. I never heard back from them after multiple voicemails and email. It's extremely unprofessional to leave an applicant hanging like that.
