      Assistant Program Coordinator Interview

      Jul 19, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Burbank, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Burbank, CA) in Feb 2018

      Interview

This was for an APC job @ KP Educational Theatre. Disorganized and unprofessional. After several months, 3 interviews, with the last interview requiring a presentation and writing sample, I was not given the common courtesy of an update about the position. Save yourself the time and energy. Don't waste your talent here.

      Question 1

Project Goal The project we've prepared for you to work on is designed to show us some of your writing and communication skills. Our goal is to get to you know you and your skills better. Components Please select a topic to teach a group of people in a workshop-like setting. The topic can be anything that requires a few steps toward achieving an objective. It can be a physical or mental skill, a life skill, a trick, a game, etc. but it will probably work best if it's something you are interested in or have some expertise around. It does not have to be related to theatre, education, or a work skill. Once you've selected your topic or idea or whatever, please prepare the following: 1. A 1-3 page written narrative that talks about your topic in any way you want. 2. A short visual presentation of what you're going to teach and the appropriate steps towards mastery or learning objective. (PPT, Prezi, whatever presentation platform you prefer, but please use technology appropriate to a visual presentation.) Please use short bullets where appropriate. Please time yourself to no more than 7 minutes. 3. Be ready to teach what you've selected to a group of people in our conference room. Your 'lesson' should be 5-10 minutes. We think it would work best if you could send your written narrative ahead of time. Is Wednesday end of day possible (5pm)? Then you can plan on presenting your visual info and then teaching the group on their feet. We will provide a projector/screen/computer if you would like to send us a file, or you can bring your own computer if you'd prefer.
