Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview was so long along that I can't recall the exact questions that were asked...only the context. I was asked technical questions about my research during my presentation. I was challenged on my methodology such as study design (recruitmemnt, data collection) and implications of findings. The grilling was similar to what you would expect from a journal reviewer.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Oakland, CA) in Feb 2020
Interview
~ 3-hour interview process. Meet with 2 of their current postdocs to learn about their experiences. Then 2 separate meetings with 4 senior researchers (2 at each meeting). The first set were researchers who were directors of the program that I wouldn't necessarily work directly with. The next two were those whose research interests were similar to mine who I might work with.

I had a phone interview with the Director and an in-person interview was scheduled. It was an all day interview from 9-5. After meeting with the Director, I had several 30-minute one-on-one interviews with different Research Scientists. I gave a 1-hour job talk and was taken out to lunch by several people from the Biostatistics Department. Afterwards I had more one-on-one interviews.
