I was contacted by a Recruiter in November 2017. She sent my resume to the HR Director and within 24 hours, he requested an in-person interview. The interview was scheduled a couple of days later at the Jacksonville, FL location. The entire process took about a week. The interview started off with casual conversation about his past military experience and his past work experience, etc. He seemed genuine and nice and I felt the interview would go well. FYI - he talks a lot. If you interview, be prepared to block off about 2 hours out of your day. The interview went south the moment it began. While I was discussing the specifics of the HR department for a previous employer, he began interrupting me and asking me rude, accusatory questions in a way that showed he did not believe me. For example, he refused to believe that there was one HR Director, one HR Manager, one HR Generalist (me) and two HR Admin for the entire state of Florida for my last company. I sat there dumbfounded, not really knowing if I should tell him to call the company and find out for himself or not. I was defending myself the entire time, instead of being able to professionally answer the questions. He constantly interrupted me, he kept yawning, and he was constantly looking at the clock. It was hands-down the worst interview I have ever experienced in my professional career. I couldn't wait to get out of there! After the interview, I immediately called the Recruiter and told her I was NOT interested in the position.
