Interview
Takes longer than you would think. They got back to me the day after I applied, but the actual interview process took a month. Application, then audition, then interview with instructor, then interview with manager, then call with an offer. A week in between each step. Then, a month of training. Made me sign a non-compete, so I couldn't work for another prep company until a year after quitting working with Kaplan (This feels wrong, since it's not a full-time or year-round job.) Everything is online, nothing in person.

Question 1
They give you sample lessons to prep and teach. It was time-consuming to prepare, although they're really just two-minute and ten-minute lessons. I rehearsed a lot! It was hard for me to fit my lesson into the time allotted, so I was mostly rehearsing to make my lesson concise and my delivery speedy. Interview was pleasant. They're really nice people.
Told to teach a lesson, was given lesson plan to do. Need to guide 3 students through a lesson, one person did not get it. Interviewer acts as the 3 students. kind of tripped me up when she went through them.

Had a pleasant interview process. The whole thing was quick and timely, finished all three parts of the interview process within 4 weeks. Everyone was very friendly, and the whole interview process was online, which was pretty convenient for me.
