They're definitely lacking professionalism, and now all the negative reviews about the account manager position make sense. I applied to the company, and they contacted me for a personality and cognitive skills test. Shortly after, the recruiter reached out to schedule an interview, which was successfully arranged. However, with just 5 minutes left before the interview, I tried to access the link they had sent me, but it wasn't working. So, I sent an email asking the recruiter to kindly resend the link. When the time for the interview arrived, I received an automated reply stating that they had decided not to proceed with my application. Then, the interviewer informed me that, due to my location and the role requiring 5 days in the office, they don't think it's feasible for me. If they claim to be a global company and the job's location was clearly stated, it's evident that I had expressed interest and was willing to relocate. Instead of taking the time to talk to me and understand my flexibility and qualifications (I'm a sales person with experience in the B2B market and have a proven track record as an account manager, consistently overachieving sales goals for IT solutions), they were disrespectful enough to cancel the interview right then and there. If they treat potential talent this way from the start, I can only imagine how they treat their current employees. Terrible first impression.
