I read all of the interview reviews on Glassdoor before applying to this company, and I feel that they were fairly accurate based on the experience that I had. I applied online for Supervisor I. After a couple of days, I received a phone call from someone at the store wanting to set up an in-person interview. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I got the call because a lot of people said the company was very slow-moving in the interview process. I went in two days later for my interview. The interviewer seemed polite, but didn't ask me very many questions. I felt it went well, but it was difficult to gauge the interview since all we basically did was chat. The interview was on a Thursday, and she told me that she wouldn't see her manager until the weekend, so I would likely hear something Monday or early the next week. I didn't actually hear anything until the following week, but again, I was prepared for this based on the reviews I read. I received a job offer, but I was confused because I was told it was a sales position at $10/hour. This was less money than I was expecting for a Supervisor position, and I was confused that she called it a sales position, but I accepted the offer. She said she would have her manager send me some on-boarding paperwork via email within a couple of days. Another week passed and I hadn't received anything. On Monday of the next week, I received a call from the lady who interviewed me. She said that "evidently" I applied for a Supervisor position, but instead accepted a sales position. She asked me to go online and reapply for the sales position, as this is what my job offer was for, so they could create my profile correctly. So basically they made a mistake and didn't look at my application properly, interviewed and hired me for a job that I didn't apply for. Needless to say, I will not be working for this company if they are this incompetent.
