You can divide the Interview Process into two parts pre hiring and post hiring.
Prehiring Process:
1. Log in to katyIsd website and Employment—>->Human Resources—->substitute
2. Submit application into subbitz
3. You have to create your profile
After few days you will receive a email from katy ISD HR department with interviews details. Than they will conduct and continue with the following process as happened to me. After submitting my application, I have received a email with interview dates in it and other instructions for the interview. It was a written test which has math , reading and science questions in it. After the writer test, we also interviewed for how handle classes room and other issues. They also do the paperwork at the same day. After 1 week , they send us a email with a list of people who were selecte needed to do the rest of the paperwork with details instructions.

Easy and fast. Ask you child care questions about 15 or so. Interviewers are nice and friendly if you have a child care background it should be easy you will hear back in a week or so after the interview

Went to a hiring event near the Merrell Center. The process was very well organized and the line flowed smoothly. Once it was my turn, I had an interview with an AP from one of the Junior High Schools and they were very pleasant and professional.
