Applied through company website where a 3rd party recruiter (on behalf of Kennametal) reached out to me for a phone screen. An initial interview with the hiring manager was set up, followed by a subsequent interview with another team member. The final interview was a team interview, which was great but I was not made aware of whom I would be interviewing with prior to the interview. I was a bit appalled at the mannerisms of the HR rep during the interview, who started off with his camera off and would randomly turn his camera off and on through the call, and was eating on camera during the end of the call, and asked completely off the wall questions that had nothing to do with the company or position. I sent an email to the recruiter and once more a day later to thank the interviewers for their time and to reaffirm my interest in the position and company. Dead silence which was shocking as there was clear and quick communication leading up to the final interview. I am very shocked at the outcome of this interview and would not elect to reapply for an open position due to this.
