I applied online. I interviewed at Kepler Group (New York, NY) in May 2021
Interview
Interview process was pretty intense and thorough but worthwhile. It’s three phases.
First interview was introductory call where they asked you about who you are, along with some behavioral questions. Lasted about half an hour.
Second interview included three different parts to it. First part was more behavioral questions followed by a marketing exercise where they asked you to pick your brand and explain how you would market it. Second part, you had to analyze a few marketing ads and answer questions on them. Third part was a 5 minute presentation that they tell you to prepare for a week prior, on any topic of your choice.
Third interview was a more casual conversation with a higher up. Conversation was pleasant and you really get to find out about the fire values of the company and what kind of employee they are looking for. Overall, this interview process is well worth the while and will benefit you.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kepler Group (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2024
Interview
There were two stages. The first was a regular intro interview, the second contained 3 different parts: an analytical test (very basic), a brainstorming session of a brand of your choosing, and a personality/experience interview.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kepler Group in Jan 2022
Interview
The company could explain what the role would entail much more thoroughly and, ask questions that are relevant to the role you’re applying for- rather than asking general questions that apply to every role just to essentially match you to whatever role they want to. Everyone I met with along the way didn’t appear to be excited about working for the company at all and rushed through interview questions. Directors and senior level employees have limited experience in their roles and backgrounds and therefore, are not qualified to truly discern if you’re fit for the role; it seems like a popularity contest. They say marketing experience isn’t a prerequisite for the role yet they ask you mostly marketing related questions. HR emails are all automated so there’s a lack of personalization which, can be disheartening given the amount of time and effort people put into preparing for these interviews.
