Kepler Group Optimization and Innovation Analyst interview questions

After completing my application online, I was contacted by a talent acquisition specialist. We coordinated a time for my initial phone screening. The phone screening was a 30 minute, informal conversation with a senior analyst about my background, Kepler, and my favorite ad campaigns. A few days after the screening, I received an e-mail asking that I submit my availability for an in person interview at the SF office. At the interview, I spoke with a recent O&I hire, as well as with a senior analyst. Initially, I spoke about my background and conducted a brief data test via Excel. With the senior analyst, I ran through a hypothetical marketing scenario to test my marketing intuition. Finally, I presented a topic of my choosing (which I planned for prior to coming in) to a panel of 4 employees. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, although I did not receive an offer.

The process overall was great. The first round interview was a phone call that lasted 30-45 mins; the individual tells you more about Kepler and asks you a bunch of questions to get a feel if you're a good fit. Shortly thereafter I got emailed about a second round, which occurred in person in the New York office. There were three parts: a 45 minute interview, a 30 minute interview, and then a presentation.
