I applied months before I received a phone call about a different position with the company that they were trying to fill, in a different state. I had a phone interview a week later, an in person interview 2 weeks after that, and the job offer 2 days after. The phone interview was very basic and felt like it could have been done by an online questionnaire. My in person interview was slightly awkward. I was suppose to interview with 8 different people, and 6 of those people ended up being out of the state or country at the time, for work conferences. My interview "host" (the graduate program HR rep) scrambled to find 5 people to fill in for the 6, so they were unprepared for my interview. Only one of those that interviewed me seemed mildly interested, and I found out later it was because he was in the same business unit as me. The others would check their emails during the interview, and ask the same questions as the previous interviewers. Overall, I couldn't get an accurate gauge of how it went, because of the disconnect feeling of the interviewers. Part of the reason that I wanted to interview with the company was because of the international opportunities. Each interviewer asked if I was willing to relocate, and two of the interviewers went into detail on how the company loves young graduates for the international opportunities because we were "easy to mold" and "unattached". I found that statement a bit arrogant because they did not know I was married and it made me feel like if they knew I was young and married, my changes of being able to relocate internationally would be greatly reduced (and after working there, I've found that true).
