Interview
The interview process was preceded by a test, some multiple choice, some long answer, some research (felt a bit like high school). While it was not difficult for me, I found it was a bit extreme for an entry level, minimum wage job, and could see how others might find it ominous.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at KeyBank (Portland, OR) in Apr 2025
Interview
The recruiter did not sound interested throughout the whole interview and asked borderline offensive questions. A little background: I was unemployed for a while due to layoffs. I guess the recruiter did not like the fact that there were gaps in my work history and asked me if I am still unemployed? How would I support myself financially if I weren't employed? What am I trying to get out of being a teller? Is this really appropriate for a phone screening? I got a rejection a week after the phone interview.
