Keyence seemed quite organized throughout the interview/screening process. It may be intimidating as it seemed to move more quickly, but I appreciated the clear and prompt information and responses as the process progressed. After first recruiter contact, there was a group info session that seemed to represent the position and company culture well. It may not be for every candidate, but I felt well briefed going into the next steps. Following the info session, there was a HireVue recorded interview. It can be a little unnerving if you aren't familiar with that type of interview, if you're nervous it seems silly, but it's probably worth recording a few practice questions on your own. After being informed that I passed the HireVue , we set up a call to discuss potential relocation, but I was not willing to relocate, so this call was brief for me. This call was on a Wednesday, and I was invited for the "Career Day" and final interview the following Tuesday. They offered a group prep call with a Keyence recruiter, which I attended, but you would probably be fine without it. On the final interview day, there was a helpful presentation about the company's culture and expectations. Once again, I feel they had represented it openly and accurately throughout the entire process. The sales roleplay was intimidating going in, but it was honestly pretty gentle and straightforward. The interviewer helped me move it along when I was stumbling, even when I did things out of order or didn't have a clear answer to some of the very specific technical questions. I was able to close a deal, but he took advantage of me during the price negotiation, and I thought I had done a poor job, but they gave helpful feedback! The final, more personal interview was much more standard, but they seemed to be pretty thorough in pushing on my weaknesses and lack of direct sales experience. I was able to get useful feedback during this section as well, and they gave me a real chance to explain why I thought I was a good fit. Even with the mistakes I made, I still received an offer. It seems there isn't need to worry about your performance being perfect, they were very professional and helpful (at least every person I interacted with). Once selected, I was able to speak with management from my region to confirm how much travel is necessary, and talk about my fit directly with the team I will be joining. All in, I was invited to the initial info session October 19th, and received an offer on November 3rd.
