      Support Specialist Interview

      May 3, 2022
      Anonymous employee
      Redmond, WA
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Keywords Studios (Redmond, WA) in Oct 2018

      Interview

I applied online for a position in player support for a major online video game. It started with a phone screen, where they said they wanted to consider me for a similar role that I hadn't applied for. I said that was fine. I received another call from a different HR person asking if I was interested in a third role there was well. I told them I was open to any of the opportunities. I then got a call from the first recruiter again saying they didn't want to consider me for the role if I was willing to accept the other role they had just asked me about. They wanted me to be "committed" to the first position. I didn't know at all what was going on, but essentially had to beg the person to keep me in consideration. They got brought into a two-round, in-person interview. The first one had two people asking questions together for about 30 min, then a 15 min follow-up with a higher manager. Afterwards I got an offer and accepted.
