Had a very basic pre interview process and followed with a 2 and a half hour interview. Was burnt out after completing. It was probably to show how burnt out I would feel working for the company.
Asked me questions about my involvement and which industry I was most interested in. Not much technical questions but more on who I am and where I would best fit for them.
the interviewers asked questions regarding my education and previous experience. they also asked questions about my gpa and college experience. it was conducted as a group style interview video call over zoom.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Kimley-Horn (Orange, CA) in Sep 2024
Interview
Had 3 rounds of interviews. Phone call with HR, then virtual interviews with hiring managers, and then in person. They ghosted me after, not even a rejection email. Wasted my time interviewing. Hiring managers were unprofessional and disinterested in the interview. During virtual interview, I was the only one with my camera on and there was a crying baby in the background. During in person interview, they made me wait and didn’t really follow the agenda they sent me in the email. The other manager wasn’t even there. A lot of red flags here. Looks like they bleed their workers dry. No work life balance.

Question 1
Asked me to regurgitate the codes. Asked me if I’m willing to put in 150% of work, basically to dedicate my life to working.
