I was contacted by a recruiter, who then set up an interview for me with the department manager. The interview was virtual and to my knowledge webcams were supposed to be on. However, the department manager never turned on his camera. The department manager was rude and said that my previous work position was simply data entry, despite my position being a GIS technician. Also, he asked whether or not I thought I got the job. To which I replied that based on his hostility that I did not. I also reminded him, that they asked me to do an interview with them, and that I was head hunted by a recruiter for being such a good match for the position.
