I applied for the position on a Thursday, received an email on Saturday asking to set up time to come in for an in-person interview. Came in the following Tuesday, there were 3 Ops folks in the room and 2 HR folks there virtually. Started with some generic background stuff, went through the resume, etc., then went in to 11 behavioral questions. They were all worded a little odd and required some processing to get an idea of what they were asking, but the interviewers were good at helping me understand some of the verbiage, and even told me flat out that the wording is a little weird. But I came prepared for behavioral questions so it wasn’t terribly difficult. I felt I answered the questions decently, and one of the folks even told me he found me to be very articulate. After the panel there was a one-on-one facility your with one of the ops folks, we just drove around and had some Q&A, some casual conversation, and talked about some of the stuff you don’t really say with when HR is present. Honestly fantastic, it made me feel like I was very suited for the role after this chat. I then went back inside with 2 of the ops folks and went over some more questions I had, then we shook hands and I left. I felt as though this was the best interview I had ever had, I left feeling extremely confident and knew in my heart I was going to get the job. Imagine my surprise 8 days later when I received a generic rejection email…..
