Overall, not a great experience. Three weeks after I applied I was notified that I was selected to do a writing exercise. Completed that and then didn't hear anything for a month. Was then asked to do an in-person interview. They changed the interview location two days beforehand and then called the morning of and asked to change the time. No one on the panel or in HR thanked me for being flexible or acknowledged the last minute change. The folks on the panel seemed nice/professional, but one guy was timing each of my responses on his cell phone and would interject every ~5-10 minutes to announce the total time remaining for the interview which seemed unnecessary and distracting. I asked supervisor of the position what the next steps in the hiring process were and he said he had no idea and the HR was running everything. After the interview I got an automated email every two weeks saying they hadn't hired anyone yet and they would keep me posted. These messages eventually stopped coming and so I emailed HR to ask about status and they said they had hired someone else. Overall, the process took way too long (4+ months) and gave me the impression that Metro is disorganized.
