I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kirkland's (Allen, TX) in Aug 2016
Interview
I had to 2 interviews.. One with a store manager who was actually transferring and then a 2nd interview with the new store manager and district manager. The 1st interview was great. I was informed of the job requirements, given company history, pay, benefits, and company structure. I was asked a few interview questions but because of my history, she stopped after the 2nd page of questions. Each question asked related directly to my current position and challenges I have recently overcame so they were pretty simple answers. The 2nd interview was a more get to know me interview.. my history, my success at my current company, the pay difference I was willing to take which was a significant gap but I can get some of my sanity back because some jobs are just not worth it. It was 2 great interviews nonetheless and I didn't need to negotiate pay because I am maxed out for m position. I was shown the metrics considering this was part of my current job so there was no need to misinform me.
