Question 1
Do you think that this job and the environment you will be around will suit you?
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Kirkland's (Montgomery, AL)
Interview
It was a brief one-on-one interview. The manager let me talk and explain my answers. Honestly it was very calm and laid back. I felt like I could be myself and let my own personality shine through. I've worked with the company for years now but the interview process is mostly the same at my location. Basic interview questions with some personality questions added. Now they have added where you walk to store and come up with a item grouping that you could sell to a customer. Example: choose a picture and some complimentary items that can be sold as a group. Explain why and how you would sell it. I'm not sure if every store does it the same exact way.

Question 1
Tell me about a bad customer experience. What did you do to improve the outcome?
Was interviewed in the Manager's office. We looked over my online application. Manager mentioned that I had lots of experience in Retail. I was asked to look over job description and see if be able to meet the requirements of job (like lifting and climbing stairs). Asked to sign paper. Very relaxed setting no pressure. She asked for two references. I also handed her my resume, but she already had my online application printed out.
