I walked in to turn in my application. The sales associate at the counter went to get the store manager. When he came out front he shook my hand and introduced himself. He was very polite. There was a bit of small talk and then he took me to a spot in the store where we could sit and talk for a few minutes. He asked me about myself and my experience as we went over my application. After the interview was finished, we shook hands and he said he'd call me soon to let me know if I got the position.
It wasn't very formal, but the job didn't call for it. He was very kind of professional.
