Resume screening leads to you being sent an OA, after completion of OA you have a technical and behavioral round and then are offered the position. OA is a simple structural setup and can be solved in a language of your choice but easiest with Python.

The interview was primarily conducted in 2 parts. One was behavioral, the other was technical. Overall, the staff were very welcoming and it didn't seem like they were overly strict. They answered questions during the technical part.

I had my interviews in September 2022. The interview process consists of at max 4 rounds for an intern. 1. Collaboration round with engineers. 2. Algorithm round. 3. Project round. 4. Manager round. The questions they ask are relevant and very unique. It's not a cliche interview process of obscure data structures and algorithms. Every person I met on the interview panel was very kind, helpful and enthusiastic. I also received a lot of positive feedback and had a good interview overall. But this is where the good things end. The HR team really needs to look into their strategy as to how they finalize candidates. I was given very obscure updates with regards to my application status. It went on for weeks with nothing concrete being said, ambiguous at best. After following up for quite a while I was told I was rejected. My hunch is that unlike other companies candidates are not selected on a rolling basis. One's selection depends a lot on the perfect culture fit. Regardless to any future candidates interviewing at Klaviyo, I would suggest waiting for about a week. I have known people that got results in that time-frame, if nothing then move on, it's a reject.
