Interview
Honestly one of the best interview processes I've ever gone through. The team was extremely transparent and communicative throughout the process, as well as very helpful in clarifying any questions I had along the way. My situation was particularly unique in that I received an offer from another company while still early on in the process with Knotch, and also while at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic. The team was very accommodating and worked with me on my timeline in order to move the process along, since I was on a deadline to give a response to the other company. At this point in time, the entire Knotch office was working from home, so the whole interview process (phone screen, technical screen, final technical interview) also happened remotely. While I do think it is generally hard to get a good feel for a company without actually getting to visit the office, I feel Knotch was able to translate their company culture by how they treated me throughout my recruiting process.

Question 1
Final round was a mix of cultural and technical interviews, consisted of meeting with leads of different teams, building out existing features and walking through your thought process. No algorithms, more of a practical emphasis on working with a database.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Knotch in Feb 2017
Interview
One hour video call, followed by a half day onsite interview series. Both mostly went well and they said they'd be in touch soon, but never heard from them.
