A recruiter contacted me, saying there are a bunch of DA and DS positions and my background is a good fit. But in the second round, the hiring manager told me it's actually a Business Analyst position! He is not interested in any of my technical skills, he just asked behavior questions and industry business knowledge. He asked me to introduce my current job, I mentioned some good data analysis and modeling practices and he said they won't use any of the skills, too complicated for them. The job location he mentioned is also different from the job description. Really disappointed!
