I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kohl's (Mesquite, TX) in Oct 2016
Interview
The interview wound up being a group session. Four interviewers showed up out of the 5 scheduled. The process took about two days, I applied and received a interview slot the following day. I chose a week later. I arrived about 5 minutes before and was seen 10 minutes after the scheduled time. Allowing everyone a chance to get there. We were asked to introduce ourselves with an interesting thing about us name and what position we prefer and why we would be good for that position. She then explained the different seasonal jobs and what would be expected of us if we did get hired. Punctuality was a big thing for the job. Then she asked each person the same 5 or 6 different questions and everyone took turns answering. It turned out to be a good interview as I was a bit nervous that changed when I realized it was a few more candidates. As I understood it was done this way to make it easier on them as there are a lot of people applying.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had a very unhappy customer, how did you handle the situation?
Basic simple interview, mine was over the phone asking availability, why you want to work here, your strengths and weaknesses. They will tell you a little bit about working there and the company and thats about it. Nothing difficult and they will give you scenarios to see how you would handle them.

I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Stockbridge, GA)

Process was pretty simple and straightforward. Longest part was waiting between the initial application and being selected to schedule an interview, which took about 6 weeks. My phone interview lasted around 20 minutes where they asked the typical questions. I was hired the next day.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kohl's (Westminster, CO) in Nov 2025
Interview
Got the interview but was told to re-schedule to the next day just 45 mins ahead. Then the manager or supervisor (named Laura) never called back. I don't even bother to call them back because I ended up accepted a better offer from another company.
