I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Temecula, CA) in Jul 2013
Interview
Five other interviewers and I sat with the Assistant Manager and Floor Supervisor. They took turn asking questions, and each of us in the group took turns answering them. At the end of the interview if they liked you, they would ask you to stay back, asked you additional questions and proceeded to have you fill paperwork out.
It was a pretty standard interview with situational questions and they explained the job duties. They also took me around the store to show me around and introduce me to everyone.
Fairly easy interview with standard questions about experience and availability. The interviewer was professional and explained the role clearly. I was surprised to learn of evening availability requirements that were not reflected in the availability I submitted on my application.
Pretty straight forward, the interview was like any other for any clothing company. Pretty quick, from call to being on the job took 1-2 weeks minimum. Though pay wasn’t that great, it was still a good learning experience.
