Filled out an online application and received an email to schedule my interview, which was about a week later. Showed up 10 minutes early at customer service where the assistant manager was called to pick me up and brought to a room with several other in it. We filled out an availability sheet while we waited for the rest of the interviewees to show up. There were 8 of us. We went around the table and were asked 2 generic questions each that were already answered at some point by another candidate; the interview was very impersonal and seemed like the interviewee had made up her mind already about who she was interested in. Overall, I feel like the interview a waste of time, as I was the youngest person there and had no formal retail experience there while everyone else did, and I definitely felt the assistant manager was uninterested in what I had to say. Don't understand why managers bother calling people in for interview that don't fit the criteria they're interested in that can be already be determined from an application (experience, availability, etc.)

Question 1
What are some qualities needed for someone in this job?
Basic simple interview, mine was over the phone asking availability, why you want to work here, your strengths and weaknesses. They will tell you a little bit about working there and the company and thats about it. Nothing difficult and they will give you scenarios to see how you would handle them.

I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Stockbridge, GA)
Interview
Process was pretty simple and straightforward. Longest part was waiting between the initial application and being selected to schedule an interview, which took about 6 weeks. My phone interview lasted around 20 minutes where they asked the typical questions. I was hired the next day.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kohl's (Westminster, CO) in Nov 2025
Interview
Got the interview but was told to re-schedule to the next day just 45 mins ahead. Then the manager or supervisor (named Laura) never called back. I don't even bother to call them back because I ended up accepted a better offer from another company.
