Super easy. I started as a part time Beauty Associate and quickly made my way to a Supervisor position within six months. I worked for Kohl’s for almost 8 years, and during my experience I was completely taken advantage of and was taken for granted by my team and my executive superiors.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's (Raleigh, NC) in Nov 2017
Interview
The process took about 2 weeks. I had to do a phone interview then a face to face. I showed up early for my interview (as usual) and they were running about 15 minutes late. From the moment I got in the back and started talking, the store manager didn't seem very interested in me and he didn't try to fake it. He broke things down to me like I was dumb, was very short when he spoke, and cut me off when I would talk. When I went into this interview I knew I wanted a new job and has been in a few interviews within the last few weeks but this was the worst I had been to and I knew half was through I wasn't going to get it. I was to the point I just wanted to shake his hand and thank him for his time because he was just wasting both of ours. I left that interview feeling horrible and wasn't surprised when I got an email saying I wasn't selected.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's (Lafayette, IN)
Interview
Multi-level interview with store management and district manager. Total hiring process took about 15 days, start, to finish. Interviews were, over-all, laid back. I felt they were more informal and conversational, than most. Positive.
