I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Columbia, SC) in Oct 2019
Interview
I applied through indeed, they sent me an email for an interview about a day or so later. I went to my interview and wasn’t offered a job because I didn’t have open availability. Mind you the position I applied for stated that the required hours were 10pm-6am or 6am-2pm. I told them I was available for those shifts and that was the reason I even applied to begin with. So basically at the interview they give you an availability sheet and you fill it out with several other people. They wasted my time and my gas to come out for an interview, when there job requirements are incorrect online
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Kohl's (San Marcos, TX) in Sep 2019
Interview
It was a great two step process! Lots of behavioral questions. One interview with store managers -- another with two district managers. Very quick, efficient process. Did not get an offer, but I made it obvious that I had other offers and I was not the right fit. Overall, great interview experience and a great summer program for those in Fashion Merchandising or Management.
