Interview
I applied online, next day I got an email saying they wanted me to come in for an interview. Interview was the next week.
I got there about 10 minutes earlier than my interview time was scheduled for. The manager was late and seemed to be in a rush. Which.. would’ve been understandable except the store was dead. It was mid morning on a weekday, not many customers. The manager took me back into a room with her and another employee. They asked me to tell them about myself, and seemed disinterested and were on their phones while I was talking to them. All they really wanted to know is if I could work weekends. The interview only lasted a few minutes. I was stuck waiting for the interviewer longer than the actual interview lasted. It really put me off of the management at that store. They told me they had paperwork to do and a background check to run and that they’d be getting back to me and that was all.
Short but still good experience to have for a beginner in interviewing. There are a lot of people to meet so that you can make your skills of speaking up to par.

Interview
I did a virtual interview with kohls, when I joined the call at the set time scheduled, the interviewer already had someone else in the call, so I had to rejoin five minutes later, which made me seem like the awkward one when I’m the one who joined on the set time. They then asked basic interview questions to which I answered after preparing answers, I then received a generic rejection email.
Easy, over the phone and about 30 minutes long. The store manager asked questions about my background, what would I do if xyz happened, what I would do if a end cap was messy, how would I contribute to making the store look good.
