I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Kohl's in Nov 2010
Interview
Initially I submitted an application, then I received a call for an interview. The interview process was interesting. It was a group interview. We all sat at a table and the interviewee would ask a question and start with a different person for each question. I liked this process, however, I felt a little awkward because I sometimes had the same answer as someone who went before I did. So, I felt like I needed to change my answer. Otherwise, I really liked the idea. I was given a second interview that was one-on-one. After being hired I had 2 days of training. It was all videos on company polices/do's and do not's. It was pretty straightforward. I did not get the job I applied for (cashier) but I enjoyed working as a Sales Associate nonetheless.

Question 1
We were asked several questions regarding ethical dilemmas. One specific question was if I would give a discount to someone who was a personal friend but didn't have a coupon.
About 20 minutes , basic questions about teamwork and customer service. Had the interview and they called a few minutes later to offer me the job. The interviewer was very nice and made me feel calm
It was painless and super easy and I'm just putting in this information so I can view the average salaries of a company because I can't use Glassdoor unless I do this.
It was over the phone and very straight forward. I spoke with the current 02 (Assistant Store Manager) at the time and it focused on previous experiences in teams. Afterward, I received an email to complete the onboarding process online, filling out paperwork.
