Question 1
Tell me about a time when you have been faced with adversity and how to you handle it?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Kohl's (Bloomington, IN) in Oct 2020
Interview
The overall process was fine. I made it to the final round and even when Kohl's promised we would hear back they ghosted myself and many other applicants from the same university. It got to the point where it was 3 week since we had heard from them even when they promised us it would only be 10 days. I emailed the recruiter and she never responded. The next thing I know I get an automatic rejection email. Would not recommend if you are not from Wisconsin.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Kohl's in Feb 2018
Interview
It was a digital interview with Kohl's for their internship program. It was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. There were 12 questions, each was asked by a video of one of their hiring managers and then you had 30 seconds to think about it before you had one try to record your video answer. I have not heard back from them yet, but I believe the next step is an invite to interview at their headquarters.

Interview
I did a lot of networking with kohl's such as a sophomore shadow day and networking events/career fair, and was given an interview after applying through my campus recruitment website. The interview room at my university was packed with people waiting for their interviews as Kohl's did all of theirs on the same day. The questions were very conversational, going over your experience and just seeing if you fit into their culture. It was a very pleasant experience. I interviewed for 2 internship positions and was invited to the second round for the Purchasing Intership position. They take you to their headquarters in milwaukee where you and others selected stay at a very nice hotel and have a networking dinner, then do a tour of their campus the next day, along with interviewing a couple people. Overall a very personal, get-to-know-you kind of process.
