I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's in Nov 2014
Interview
The hiring process was rather easy. Applied online. Got a call that same week (or day if I remember correctly) asking to come in for an interview. It was one of the most stress free interviews I had ever been to. Alot of the pressure is taken off of you because, if your interview happens to be like mine, it was a group interview. There were about 6-8 people interviewing, including myself, for the same position. There were two interviewers in the room, which was odd because only one did most of the talking, however both took notes. The ladies interviewing were very nice, and made the interview seem stress free. Standard retail questions. After they were done asking questions, they asked which department we would most like to work (sales floor, cashier, etc) and our availability. I was called the week after the interview to schedule a date and time for orientation.

Question 1
Explain a time when you went above and beyond for a customer?
Basic simple interview, mine was over the phone asking availability, why you want to work here, your strengths and weaknesses. They will tell you a little bit about working there and the company and thats about it. Nothing difficult and they will give you scenarios to see how you would handle them.

I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Stockbridge, GA)
Interview
Process was pretty simple and straightforward. Longest part was waiting between the initial application and being selected to schedule an interview, which took about 6 weeks. My phone interview lasted around 20 minutes where they asked the typical questions. I was hired the next day.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kohl's (Westminster, CO) in Nov 2025
Interview
Got the interview but was told to re-schedule to the next day just 45 mins ahead. Then the manager or supervisor (named Laura) never called back. I don't even bother to call them back because I ended up accepted a better offer from another company.
