I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kohl's (Dover, DE) in Oct 2015
Interview
I arrived almost an hour early, checked in at customer service and waited. This wait time allowed me to get a feel for the people who worked there, who all seemed pretty nice. About fifteen minutes before the interview started the store manager came out and stood out by the doors. Make sure you speak to people out on the floor, you never know who that person might be. The interview started a bit early since everyone arrived early. It was a group interview, ten people I think. I was a bit nervous about the group interview but it was a pretty good experience. The store manager and a department manager were in the room. The store manager asked the questions and scored, he started with a different person each time, the department manager just scored. Make eye contact with everyone, and try not to piggyback off of someone elses answer, that is probably the hardest part. I got my offer letter the next day but it took me a few days to find it because my email sent it to spam.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you were recognized for your achievements, whether at work or school.
Basic simple interview, mine was over the phone asking availability, why you want to work here, your strengths and weaknesses. They will tell you a little bit about working there and the company and thats about it. Nothing difficult and they will give you scenarios to see how you would handle them.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kohl's (Westminster, CO) in Nov 2025
Interview
Got the interview but was told to re-schedule to the next day just 45 mins ahead. Then the manager or supervisor (named Laura) never called back. I don't even bother to call them back because I ended up accepted a better offer from another company.
