The first step of the interview process went well, so well in fact that the recruiter asked me for a reference and said that he would be setting up a second interview with his client. My reference gave him a good reference, but I was unable to contact the recruiter again. He did not return my numerous emails and I wound up apologizing to my references for wasting their time. This made me, Korn Ferry, and most importantly the recruiter look very foolish.
