      I interviewed at Korn Ferry

      Interview

I was contacted by a recruiter from Korn Ferry working on behalf of Google, about a potential opportunity. She asked me to submit an application and book time on her calendar, which I did. I spent the weekend preparing for the call, but on the day of the meeting, she didn’t show up. I followed up via email and received an automated out-of-office message saying she was unavailable due to an emergency — which is understandable. Out of respect for the process, I rebooked another time on her calendar and followed up again to confirm. I never received a reply. The second meeting was automatically confirmed and reminders were sent, but once again, she didn’t show up. I had cleared my schedule and lost the entire morning making sure I was ready for our call — twice. Even if she didn’t want to respond to my messages, she could have at least canceled the meeting. If this is the kind of candidate experience Korn Ferry is delivering on behalf of Google, it’s extremely disappointing. Communication and basic professionalism should be a given — especially when representing a company like Google.
