The first two rounds of interview went well(out of 3 that I faced). I had a good time talking to the panelists. However, I was expected to complete 5 documentations in 6 hours. BRD, Process workflow, wireframe, APIs and MIS. Also, they wanted a detailed documentation!
Usually, preparing these documents takes upto a day or two. I still completed a basic Version of all of these documents after my office work. Starting from 9 to 1.
The next round also went really well! At 12pm on a working day(Wednesday). I was asked to complete a brd of 8 to 9 pages in just 3 hours. How do you expect someone to finish documents this way when we already have our priority work at the peak of the day from 1 to 4?? My genuine reason was not considered and I was rejected for just this! Remember- I am not yet employed here to take up their work priority over my current work!
Impromptu assignments, not considering our commitments, especially at work, deadlines are just horrible.
Very demotivating and makes me think just this. If the interview was this way where they do not consider your situations and constraints. That too very genuine onces, what would my situation be after being employed???
Either way, the employees cannot be blamed nor can the HR. The process needs a check. It definitely is demotivating.
