I applied in-person. I interviewed at Kumon (Harrisburg, PA) in May 2017
Interview
I filled out an application they gave me when I visited Kumon. There wasn't much of an interview since the employer was desperate. Just want students that are either good at academics or former Kumon students.
Welcoming, not too inquisitive, asked basic questions about myself and any previous work experience I had. Did not feel extremely pressured, but was in person not virtual. Also had to do a maths test to check mathematical ability.
Very casual and easy interview. It was mostly chatting with the manager about logistics and what I was comfortable tutoring. They are mostly checking to make sure you have a personality that is suitable for the position.
