I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at L.L. Bean in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview was set up as a roundtable interview. There were five of us in the room. The interviewer was extremely nice and asked us each multiple questions. Many of us were asked the same questions to see how we each would handle different situations. They brought us on a tour of the store as well.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you handle a situation with a difficult customer? The interviewer each handed us an item from the store and asked us to sell the product to them. Please explain your previous customer service experience. We were asked how we are in high stress situations and our ability to multi-task.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at L.L. Bean (Bridgewater, NJ) in Jun 2025
Interview
Did not hire, went through 2 hour process for nothing. Pointless and frustrated. Application was easy enough. Demand you buy their clothes (at a discount but regardless). Would not apply again.
