      Group Product Manager Interview

      Jun 13, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Dubai
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at L'Oréal (Dubai) in Jun 2016

      Interview

The interview process consisted of 3 interviews. The first one was over the phone, the second one was a panel interview between HR and the hiring manager and the last interview was with the GM of that specific product division. Throughout the interview process, HR was very collaborative and helpful. They provided feedback and tips along the way on what to expect from the audience and were also very attentive and quick to respond. The interview with the GM was also truly inspirational. He was genuinely curious about my personal and professional aspirations, to ensure fit, and had an infectious energy and passion for the brand. Moreover, the hiring team's honesty on the culture and work as well as the pride and respect they have for the company/ brand was very impressive. When it came to the offer, they were decisive and quickly made a decision. I always appreciate when companies don't prolong things and take action once they find the right talent. Although I did not accept the offer, I was very impressed with how HR and the team handled everything. My entire interviewing experience for the GPM position was very positive, professional, and left a great impression of L'Oreal.
