I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at LGI Homes in Dec 2015
Interview
Arrived and so did about 2 other interviewees. Everyone seems a bit too serious. Never seen so many people making so much money so uptight. Loosen up guys. I'm sure no doubt the company is successful but I felt there's more to what it was I saw. The employee testimonial is a bit awkward and makes it feel like an infomercial. I felt like I was being sold something in an interview. Training is great no doubt but you can spend too much time training. If nobody has been laid off that didn't mean nobody got fired. Flashy rings and 5 star vacations? What about having time to see family or enjoy life? Flexibility? I've gotten a commission in commercial by the way. Just didn't want to embarrass your top sellers. On the lighter side I'm sure spending your entire week making appts works.. but why's the sales managers salary someone put 75k? Then why take a promotion if the top salesperson makes 337k? 200 salespeople but only 10 received bonus checks in the perfect sales process? Where's the others?

Question 1
what commission did you make at your current brokerage?
Thanks for the review. Employee recognition, training, and uncapped earning potential are all things that make LGI Homes a top place to work. We are disappointed to hear that the process and opportunity did not meet your expectations. Best of luck.
Interview
First contact other than email was a Zoom meeting. If you're not used to seeing yourself on a screen it's very uncomfortable and in my case didn't represent my personality at all.
