I applied online and was able to get an interview, it was done virutally. The hiring manager didn't look at my resume before getting on the call 10 minutes late. Then when he looked at my resume (I am over qualified) he asked why I was applying, he then started talking about making me the lead technician. The interview was easy and I left feeling like I would take the next step. I sent him an email and he replied saying he was looking forward to continuing the conversation, instead I got the "thanks for applying" email.
