      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at LabKey Software (San Diego, CA) in Feb 2017

      Interview

The interview process was very smooth. The recruiters were kind and set things up in a timely fashion and the team was easy to communicate with in an interview setting. After meeting the recruiters at my university job fair, I had a technical coding challenge and a 2 hour onsite with three rounds of interviews lasting ~45 minutes each. I got a call a couple days after letting me know I was selected for the position.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

45 minute coding challenge, in person panel interview, one on one interviews with employees. I don't want to expose any specific questions but the technical aspect was about a 6/10 in terms of difficulty. Basic data structures, string manipulation, sorts, and algorithm optimization were covered. The rest was mostly behavioral.
